I grew up as a country boy, around dairy farms in northeastern Vermont.  My early exposure to "going to church" was Methodist Sunday School until I was 12 yrs old, and then going to no church at all.  I came to the 'big city' of Syracuse to study for, and obtain, my Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University.  I meandered a bit regarding attention to spiritual things, but, in my senior year, I was reached by an on-campus Bible Study, being baptized into Jesus in November 1980.  Because of that, I desired to stay in the Syracuse area after my graduation in May 1981.  God blessed me with work here, with my wonderful wife, Diane (we married in June 1983), and our two great children, Naomi and Christopher.  We came to Wetzel Road. in November 1995, and are so thankful for this body of believers!  As Naomi and Chris begin their lives away from home, Diane and I remain here, glad to serve God here.
